CoinPoker GOPC Pays $59.8M as CoinMillion Tops $1M Again

CoinPoker’s Global Online Poker Championship has already paid out almost $60 million, moving well beyond its original $50 million guarantee before the festival’s biggest finish.

Biggest GOPC Events Are Still Ahead

The largest guaranteed prize pool on the GOPC schedule is still to be decided. The $530 Main Event carries a massive $3 million guarantee, with Day 2 scheduled for September 28.

Players still have several routes into the tournament before then, including daily Day 1 flights, three Last Chance flights on September 27 and a final Turbo flight on September 28 shortly before Day 2 begins.

High rollers also have a major target in the $1,500 CoinMasters BTC High Roller, which puts another $1 million guaranteed on the line. Its final Day 1 flight runs on September 27, with Day 2 following on September 28.

The final $1 million GTD CoinMillion of the GOPC also takes place on September 27, with qualification available through freerolls, step satellites and direct satellites.

Week 4 Sets a New GOPC Record

Week 4, running from September 14–20, became the biggest stretch of the GOPC so far. CoinPoker paid out $15.28 million across 1,214 tournaments, with 429,716 entries from 27,568 players.

Of the 434 guaranteed events, 352 finished above their guarantees. Total payouts came in $1.73 million higher than the advertised $12.79 million.

Runner-Up: Biggest Week 4 Payout

The $5,200 Record Breaker High Roller lived up to its name, attracting 119 entries and building a $595,000 prize pool.

shortbtc1 won the tournament for $128,249, but a heads-up deal meant runner-up welcometoconair actually earned more, taking home $131,231. That was the largest score of Week 4 and the third-biggest payout of the entire GOPC so far.

palau777 finished third for $71,757 after qualifying through a $530 satellite.

Satellite Qualifiers Deliver Again

Satellite qualifiers continued to produce some of the biggest value stories of the series.

POCHAMA’s result represents an extraordinary 4,422x return on the original $15 satellite entry.

Big Weekender Clears $500K Again

The $125 Big Weekender Final once again pushed beyond the half-million-dollar mark.

A total of 4,415 flight entries generated a $507,610 prize pool, marking the second consecutive week in which the event cleared $500,000. OSolverHelp took the title and collected $58,223.

Yafish Leads the GOPC Podium Race

Yafish remains the standout player of the championship and currently leads the Podium Race with 116 points and 19 medals. A strong 47-point week moved ScroobiusPup into second place with 82 points, followed by agustinverna on 80 and deadbeat on 66.

Yafish is also near the top of several regional and buy-in leaderboards:

GBortoleto Wins $121K

The latest GOPC CoinMillion produced another seven-figure prize pool, with GBortoleto taking down the $215 event for $121,753. A field of 5,181 entries pushed the prize pool to approximately $1.03 million, making it the second CoinMillion of the current GOPC to break the seven-figure mark.

GBortoleto entered Day 2 from fourth place and completed the job at the final table. The result adds another major CoinPoker title to a résumé that already includes a CoinMasters Coin from victory in the $109 CoinMasters FLOKI on July 18.

The event also coincided with a major traffic milestone, as CoinPoker confirmed that platform traffic topped 30,000 players during the CoinMillion session.

Big Final Table Comebacks

BustinDaNut69 produced one of the strongest climbs, moving from 22nd place after Day 1 to finish runner-up for $76,989.

It was only the player’s second CoinPoker final table. Pipsis went even further, rising from 28th of 35 remaining players to finish third for $55,436.

The run is especially notable because Pipsis qualified through a $25 satellite that awarded 40 seats and did not rebuy. Compared with the original $25 satellite entry, the $55,436 payout represents a return of more than 2,200x the buy-in. It also dwarfed Pipsis’ previous best CoinPoker cash of just $157.

Next CoinMillion Is Already Open

Qualification for the next CoinMillion is already underway inside the CoinPoker client. Players can again work their way in through free freeroll steps, satellites and direct qualifiers, while 3-Bet Club members can also benefit from active tournament discounts.
