Black Member Event XI: A Saturday with Sports
After a relaxing Friday filled with a champagne reception, a few short speeches and the Grand Dinner, the Saturday will be packed with more action, as the Black Members and their partners enjoy bowling, a sight-seeing tour and the famous Black Member Party.
To kick off the Saturday, the Black Members and their partners could choose between two activities: Those with an interest for Leipzig were given the opportunity to take a tour of the city, see its historic monuments and most beautiful places, like the Panometer. For all others, there is an action-packed bowling event which will be covered live in our ticker on the forum.
In the afternoon, our sponsor PokerStars is hosting a workshop for the guests, giving all members the chance to adress their questions to Steve Day of PokerStars. Team PokerStars Pro George Danzer will also be in attendace.
When the workshop is done, all Black Members will enjoy a dinner at The Westin Hotel to lay a good foundation for the highlight of the night, the Black Member Party. Taking place on the roof of the Panorama Tower on the 29th floor, the guests will enjoy spectacular view over Leipzig at night.
Friday Recap: Lots of food and an EPT Ticket
After all Black Members had settled at The Westin Hotel in Leipzig, a champagne reception and a few welcome speeches got everyone in the right mood for a great weekend. As the evening highlight, all Black Members enjoyed a multi-course buffet spread out over several areas, leaving no desire unfulfilled.
While the Black Members were enjoying their dinner, sponsor PokerStars revealed that they brought a little present. A ticket to EPT Vienna, taking place from October 26 - 31, will be given to the Black Member who is able to record the most convincing 30-second speech why they are the right choice for the €5,000-ticket. The winner will be determined by you, the community, over the course of the next few days through a vote.
