PokerStrategy.com: Hello, Wladimir. It would be great if you could introduce yourself shortly to our users.

insyder19: I play using the nickname "insyderrr" on FTP and "insyder19" on PokerStars, I am 28 years old and an office administrator by profession (!!!).

I also study Economics Education, although these days it's only on paper.

PokerStrategy.com: Since when has poker been a part of your life and what does it mean to you?

insyder19: I started playing poker about three years ago. For the first six months, it was more of a hobby but I have been playing professionally for nearly 1.5 years now.

I don't see myself as the typical gambler you would imagine a poker player to be. I also believe that nowadays things aren't the same as they were 10 years ago.

Meanwhile, poker has become very scientific and therefore more interesting for many people who don't really have much to do with "gambling". Nevertheless, I still consider it a challenge, especially playing heads-up, and of course it is a very good source of income.

I think that in some videos I will actually go into detail on the topic that these days, more than ever, poker should be seen as business.

PokerStrategy.com: Could you please tell us a bit more about your poker career to date?

insyder19: In late 2007, I deposited €50, went busto, made another deposit, busto again, and so on. In early 2007, I played as 'INST' (which in fact stands for -inst- "insyder and newbelief supa team", a Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun clan) on iPoker, more or less break-even.

Then I played as newbelief on iPoker until about NL 400/600. After that, I completely switched to FTP and also played on PokerStars. From around NL 600 on, I started doing more work for poker than for university. Since the beginning of 2009, I have been a full-time pro and mainly play at $10/$20, in heads-up at $5/$10 as well.

PokerStrategy.com: You have already made videos with Krantz, whitelime and balugawhale on DC and have made a brief appearance on 2 Months 2 Million. What are the high stakes players like in private life and are there any funny anecdotes you would like to share?

insyder19: It was definitely interesting being able to experience the way in which nosebleed players live and think. As I already mentioned, I'm not really a gambler and felt quite lost in Vegas because in my opinion, the city is very fake and does not have any kind of culture or much else to offer whatsoever.

On top of that, you have temperatures of up to 45 degrees Celsius in the shade and air-conditioning everywhere. Players gamble on anything and everything (there was an elevator in the house and whitelime and flawless made a bet on who would reach the top first - flawless via the stairs or whitelime on the elevator). Of course poker-wise I improved a lot by being around these guys.

PokerStrategy.com: What can the PokerStrategists expect from your videos? What limits will they see?

insyder19: In the debut video there is some $5/$10 6-max action. Also, there will definitely still be HSNL action and what else there is to come simply depends on you guys. Depending on your feedback and demand, anything will be taken into consideration and I will do the best I can!

PokerStrategy.com: Are you in touch with any of the other video producers of PokerStrategy.com? Allegedly you have already recorded a series with dapapst, is that true?

insyder19: Yeah,  a very, very awesome series with  really interesting hands which are supposed to get you thinking about the topic of ranges.

PokerStrategy.com: Do you have any final piece of advice for all the PokerStrategy.com members?

insyder19: Ranges, ranges, ranges. Always think about the opponent's range and don't focus on your own hand. What I have learnt is that you don't necessarily need a good hand, you just need a better one than villain.

PokerStrategy.com: Thanks a lot for the interview!
