News: Black Member and Diamond Event

On the weekend of August 24-26 we hosted one of our biggest VIP Tour events ever for Diamond and Black Members, in the popular Ukrainian city of Odessa.

For the third time hospitable Odessa welcomed our Russian Diamond and Black Members for a weekend of partying like no other. 46 Black Members, 66 Diamonds, their guests and our team (185 people in total) came to the biggest VIP event of the Russian community.

Friday, August 24th

The Black Member event started on Friday. Events in Odessa are always popular, so it's no wonder that this time an attendance record was set - 46 Black Members.

Our VIP players stayed at the splendid "Bristol" hotel with luxurious and spacious rooms. The hotel itself is situated in the city centre with the most hospitable staff you will find - it's difficult to find a hotel equal to the Bristol.

After check-in, new BMs went to get their famous tailor-made Black Member suits from master tailor Jörg Preuß. Meanwhile the experienced VIP members preferred to relax; enjoying all the benefits of a free gym and spa in the hotel.

In the evening, Black Members visited the "Bellini" cafe. After a while they switched from tasty food to cocktails and hookah at a comfortable lounge with the unforgettable atmosphere of a warm Odessa night.

Saturday, August 25th

Saturday's schedule was as always full of fun. After a nice breakfast, our VIPs and their guests divided into two groups: one preferred the fun and games of an intense paintball battle, while the others chose hot baths and a cool spa at the famous "Ark Spa" health centre.

Our traditional evening banquet at "Renaissance" began with champagne for BMs and Diamonds in the foyer of the impressive banquet room. Like the BMs the previous day, all the Diamonds received exclusive T-shirts made especially for the event.

During the banquet, which included a rich menu and large variety of drinks, our VIPs were treated to an entertainment programme which included many interesting party games.

In one of them (photo on the right) teams from different countries were asked to make a rope from clothes they had, the team with the longest rope won. There are no prizes for guessing that our male members had to provide most of the clothes.

Musical entertainment was performed by the "Russian Disco" band, who rousingly sang many Russian and Soviet hits. Three of our community got particularly involved in the entertainment: Nastya, the wife of our moderator trempx, murzik100 and Eugenia.

After 5 hours of celebrating, the banquet was concluded with a festive presentation of the PokerStrategy.com cake. It was the right time for dancing, and our players headed to the famous "Itaka" night club, situated on a Black Sea beach.

The evening entertainment included the "Hi-Fi" band and an 80's disco. BMs and Diamonds made themselves comfortable in a separate VIP-zone with big choice of free drinks. Everybody was in a great mood, and it's no surprise that the dancing continued all the way until morning.

Sunday, August 26th

Our VIPs couldn't get enough sleep after their adventures in the night club - so we waited until the afternoon before we returned to "Itaka"; this time to enjoy their cozy beach complex.

Our guests got comfortable beach chairs with sunshades near the pool, which was just a stones throw from the beach. The weather was hot and serene, and the sea water temperature was ideal for swimming; so that's exactly what our members did.

In addition to relaxing on beach chairs, our guests took part in water aerobics, ordered cocktails and socialised with their forum friends in cozy and chilled out beach setting.
