Today we welcome a new coach to the Poker School, popular Platinum member and blogger asimos joins the team to show you how he crushes the stakes that matter to you.
Originally from Greece, but currently living in Ireland working on his Ph.D in Electrical Engineering, poker is just a part time pursuit for our new coach, but he still has managed to crush the last 100,000 hands in six months (See the graph below) at NL50-100.
In his first coaching series he will be playing every Tuesday in December at stakes between NL10 to NL50, moving between poker rooms, playing both six max and full ring.

What is your ultimate poker goal?
asimos: To make $5k-$10k per month, money rules the world!
Do any of your opponent's scare you? If so, how do you adjust?
asimos: Nobody is causing trouble for me! I have a game plan at the tables which I follow during play. Since I am playing mainly fast tables, I don't have the same villain to my left all the time who could raise every single one of my hands. On normal tables I would need to alter my game more.
What winrate is achievable at NL10-NL50?
asimos: You should aim at the winrate the best players have. They have something like 8-11 BB/100, but if you have a 4-5BB/100 & a solid bankroll just move up!
What are your top three tips for improving winrate at these stakes?
- Steal wide from the Button & the Small Blind
- Play straightforward and don't level yourself or making hero calls
- Bet big for value and play your strong hands fast
