Ruben Visser Wins the PokerStars EPT London!
Afer 6 days of play, Dutch Ruben Visser has triumphed over a 647-player field - including an extremely tough final table - to become the EPT London champion.

The final table at this week's EPT London was full of exceptional poker talent. Four of the eight final tablists had career tournament earnings exceeding $1 million, and the other four all showed their competence on the felt during this event.
Only one player could ultimately gather all of the chips in play, and when all was said and done that player was Ruben Visser. Visser earned £595,000 for his victory after reaching a 3-handed deal with 2nd-place finisher Mantas Visockis and 3rd-place finisher Olof Haglund.
Chris Moorman entered the final table 7th in chips and hit the rail first. He was followed in short order by Tamer Kamel and Christopher Frank. All three went out by losing preflop flips.
Steve O'Dwyer entered the final table with the most chips, but that quickly changed. Early in the day he doubled up Olof Haglund when Haglund's Pocket Queens beat O'Dwyer's Ace-King, and later he shoved preflop with Ace-Deuce and ran into Theo Jorgensen's Pocket Aces. O'Dwyer was out in 5th.
Four-handed play lasted quite a couple of hours, and eventually Theo Jorgensen shoved Pocket Fours and couldn't beat Ruben Visser's Ace-Eight.
With three players left, a deal was reached which flattened the payouts for the top 3 spots. Olof Haglund busted almost immediately after; his King-Jack never improved against Olof Haglund's Ace-Eight.
Heads-up play between Visser and Visockis was a battle in itself, lasting roughly 2 hours. Early on, Visser gathered a significant lead of over 4 times as many chips as his opponent, but Visockis fought long and hard before finally hitting the rail when his 
couldn't hold in a preflop flip against Visser's 
. The board ran 
, and Visockis was out in second place.
Interestingly, every bustout at this final table took place in a hand where all of the chips got in preflop. Congratulations to Ruben Visser, the EPT9 London champion!
