The poker community was shocked by last week's news about hotel rooms at EPT Barcelona being broken into in order to plant trojans onto poker players' laptops.
The man who broke the story, 
JensKyllonen, has given more details on this scandal, and has recited at length his side of the story.
In a lengthy post on 2+2, Jens reveals that:
1. His laptop went missing and from his room twice and was returned both times.
2. He received two very suspicious phone calls in his hotel room after the incident.
3. Hotel security tried to downplay the incident and even accused his roommate of taking the laptop, even though he was playing a live cash game at the time.
4. The culprit entered and left the room multiple times according to the room security log.
The situation is yet to be resolved and there is a strong suspicion that this was an inside job at the hotel. High stakes players Aku Joentausta and Ignat "0human0" Liviu have both also confirmed similar incidents, the latter having seen security footage of a 'skinny guy' taking his laptop.
WCOOP latest
The winner of the first World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) event of the year has just been crowned. The $109 No Limit Hold'em event attracted a staggering 11,799 entrants.
'WithoutNickk' of Russia was the winner, but after a heads-up deal with 'herosnappinG' of Germany, the two players took home $144,487.07 and $137,632 respectively.
Meanwhile two other $215 No Limit events have paused until tonight. The 6-max event attracted 6,622 players with a first prize of $201,973.76 and the full ring event attracted 11,381 players and has a first prize of $318,673.04.

EPT Barcelona is over for another year and the last big result went to Austrian PokerStrategist Thomas
wongfeihung in the €10,300 High Roller for €390,700.
He was joined at the final table by Jonathan Duhamel, November Niner David Benefield and olekonjole.
Perhaps even more notably, Daniel Negreanu finished in second place for €263,800.
This result puts Negreanu to the top of the Global Poker Index rankings, and continues an amazing year which has seen him win the WSOP APAC Main Event, make further final tables in WSOP, WPT and EPT events, and amass over $2 million in winnings.
Even more amazingly, this is the very event Negreanu 'quit' after a dispute over the first card out rule, only for him to re-enter later on in the day.
One final note about the EPT High Rollers: a £50,000 Super High Roller event has been announced for EPT London next month, which will take place between October 4-6.

Two very recognisable online stars had very different days yesterday at the top and bottom of the profit rankings.
It was a very bad weekend for Viktor "Isildur1" Blom - just yesterday he managed to drop $332,830 in just over 1,500 hands.
Much of that went to Hac "trex313" Dang who won over $100,000.
Another player who benefited from Blom's downswing was his long time rival Isaac Haxton (pictured), who was the big winner yesterday booking $309,530 at the end of business.
