Ronaldo plays poker in Australia

Ronaldo plays in Melbourne
With his busy football schedule many have wondered how often Cristiano Ronaldo will actually be playing poker for PokerStars?
The Real Madrid star is in Melbourne right now for a friendly competition which also features AS Roma, Manchester City, Inter and Roma. It seems as long as the full season isn't in flow, poker is on the cards.
While away from the field, he took this snap of him playing poker and posted it to Instagram.
Cantu arrested
No bracelets this year for controversial pro Brandon Cantu, but he did manage to get a pair of cuffs instead.
Video footage was caught of him getting arrested at Las Vegas Airport this week. It is not known why he was arrested, but it has been speculated it was for missing court appearances and/or none payment of previous fines:

Negreanu's Main Event Mistake
The image of a defeated Daniel Negreanu lying on the floor after busting the Main Event in 11th place is already becoming iconic.
Negreanu has blogged about the mistakes he think he made as he tried to get to the final table:
"As I've gotten older, more mature, and better at tournament poker, the mistakes I make are much smaller, but not any less significant. When you look at professional golf as an example, what makes them better is not that they consistently hit perfect shots, it's that their misses are not as big as the average golfer."
He didn't believe his exit hand, where he flat called a button raise from the blind with A4 instead of three-betting (Which led to him getting outdrawn after making top pair) was a mistake. In fact he detailed why he called instead of raised:
- It balances my calling range from the blind a little bit
- I WILL get extra value post flop when I hit an Ace. He can't check an Ace
- I avoid getting it all in preflop in spots where I will almost certainly be a 2-1 underdog when called
