PokerStars Power Up launches Alpha testing

Poker and eSports moves closer together with PokerStars players getting their hands on Power Up for the first time.

The hotly anticipated PokerStars Power Up, which combines regular poker and eSports elements similar to Hearthstone, has launched for some players. 

Right now it appears to be available in Play Money only in the .eu, .net and .com markets. 

It plays like regular three handed Hold'em, however a host of new 'powers' to influence the outcome of the hand appear to have been introduced, which includes things like dealing yourself an extra hole card, removing a card from the board and redrawing cards
