Matt Glantz wins the $1 million bounty
He may have finished in 42nd place but Matt Glantz is a millionaire in the first ever Mystery Bounty event at the WSOP.
The biggest bounty in poker history has just been won by popular poker player Matt Glantz. He pulled the $1 million ticket from the $1,000 Mystery Bounty bracelet event.

The event really has captured the imagination of the poker world and attracted a staggering 14,112 entries. 33 players remain and the eventual winner gets $750,120 plus bounties, but it looks like Glantz has walked away with the biggest overall prize despite finishing in 42nd for $20,730 in normal payouts,
Glantz was something of a skeptic about the event until he pulled the golden ticket out. He also set a precedent for future seven-figure bounty winners by giving a tip to the player whose bounty led to him becoming a millionaire.

Elsewhere at the WSOP there have already been 6,842 entries in the Main Event going into what is expected to be a record breaking Day 1D. It genuinely looks like we could have well over 10,000 entries by the end of the Day 2 late registrations.
