After five years the iconic festival could finally be returning to the Crown Casino in Melbourne next year.

One of the most popular festivals in poker could finally be returning, as the Aussie Millions is rumoured to be coming back in 2025.

It's not an official announcement, but the Poker Pulse Podcast have reported that the tournament is set to return to the Crown Casino in Melbourne in April next year.

If true, that would be a different time in the calendar year for the festival, which usually took place in January.

The event has boasted a lot of big names winning it including Tony Bloom, Lee Nelson, Gus Hansen, Ari Engel, Toby Lewis and Bryn Kenney

It has not taken place since 2020, at first due to COVID but then after a string of controversies including money laundering and abusive marketing offences at Crown Casino.

However, this time last year the Crown Casino recommenced poker tournaments and now it looks like the iconic Australian poker festival could finally be back.
