Filming at the tables banned at the WSOP

No more hand review videos from poker vloggers this year at the World Series of Poker.

More rules are surfacing following the WSOP's decision to ban smart devices when just three tables remain. 

Popular Youtuber Rampage revealed he was unable to get media credentials, which led KevMath to reveal that players are not allowed to film themselves while playing, with the exception of all-in hands. All-in hands are allowed, no doubt, because there is no more action to influence. 

Players can not receive media credentials.

This would effectively end the point of view videos we associate with popular poker Vloggers like Andrew Neeme and Brad Owen. 

All-in hands only

This has naturally led to an outcry from poker content creators. It is undeniable that poker Vlogs have contributed to the recent growth of live poker. 

However, from a game integrity perspective, it's hard to argue against. The WSOP has been forced to implement strict rules against phone use in the wake of Laptopgate and the the recent rise of solver technology. 

Given there has already been a high profile cheating scandal on the Partouche Poker Tour involving people posing as poker media, it would seem a major security flaw to allow smartphones at the table to film when they are otherwise being clamped down on.
