Yo,

"This is perhaps the most pitiful confession of a losing poker player I have ever seen in my life. Here's the reality of it. You can make money at any game, any limit, because poker is not a game based solely on luck.

If everyone played the exact same way, was just as good as one another, yes at the end of the day we'd all just be trading money back and forth... but there's always someone out there better than the last guy and worse than the next guy.

Fish is a relative term. Obviously, people aren't complete vagabonds like the misrepresentation in the 95' film Rounders, where poker is portrayed as such a lucrative, easy game. Yes there are videos, yes there are forums, yes there training sites, but that doesn't mean anything. People pay thousands of dollars to subscribe to a gym, and does it ever really do anything for them? No, people go to college only to come out with a useless degree and a wealthy loan, did it do anything for them? No. The point i'm trying to make is that these videos, these forums, and any other material people extract information from, isn't actually teaching them how to play. It's teaching them how teach themselves how to think, how to analyze... and the rest is up to them.

You only get out of something what you put into it, and most people who subscribe to THIS site most particularly probably won't turn out to be any better than they are if they've subscribed to other sites. It's no different, just an IDEA... an IDEA that gives people a new hope, in essence, a false hope, but a second chance to prove to themselves that they can be better. The point is, the ability to outplay a person, to succeed over another in any given field, is completely based off of work ethic, will, and competitiveness.

People who play 5-20 tables of online poker are nit drones who use a mathematical system to slowly, little by little, grind away at those who , NOT know less about poker, but simply make those tiny mistakes that chip away and give these drones a peace of mind. Playing 5-20 tables of online poker is not going to make you a better player than if you played say.. 4 tables, nor will it make you richer.

If there's anything to be learned from this... it's that you need to work for what you want. I play poker for a living, I've made a TON of money. I am at a live casino almost every day, and I also play online and I'm a winning player. I sacrifice plenty to work hard for what I want, and I will never believe that the games are too tough. Are they "tougher"? Again, that's all relative. Any table can be profitable depending on the player's ability to overcome and adapt.

The world isn't so black and white man. You know how easy it is to make money on stocks if you simply do your research, but ppl are too lazy or unwilling in ethics do such research, so they don't do stocks. Do you know how easy it is to make money off the right investments, in realestate? It's QUITE easy, and the material is always right at your fingertips, but ppl are too lazy. So as far as poker goes... yes there's material everywhere, but that doesn't mean anything. If the games have become tougher to you it's because you've lost your confidence and succumbed to being lazy and preferring an easy life. Poker's not an easy life, and any lucrative business where you have the potential to make a ton, is never going to be easy. It's going to require sacrifice, dedication, and a mindset like no other.

Sir, your lack of optimism is only the beginning sign that you're not ready to be a winner in life. So when you quit doubting yourself and blaming it on others, when you're ready to quit being lazy and try harder than the next guy to do what he cannot, that's when you know you're ready to be a winner.

P.S. I do not thrive on the fish when I play poker, in fact I thrive on thrill and victor of out-competiting the other regulars who know me so well. That's where I make the most of my profit, not from the fish."

close..
