Innerhalb diesen Coachings gibt es auch oefter mal "Hausaufgaben" (back to schhool!:f_drink: )
Picking the “right” wife – Really just a matter of the heart?
Let’s take a look on a man with the wonderful name John.
Flashback: John hast just turned thirty years old and is in his prime. Young, attractive, athletic, successful and confident.
He has graduated 3 years ago in economics at a elite university and nowadays owns an own successful sales-business. He has many hobbies and a passion for basketball, chess, arts, music and healthy cooking.
During his life he had already some relationships to women, but nothing too serious.
But then – about 2 years ago he has met at a theatre a mysterious creature who would change his life for good - but at this point of time, he had no clue about this yet.
But who had he met? What do you think? Right, he has met “the ONE”, his soulmate – at least that is how he has described this very attractive and intelligent women with the name Sophia, in the past.
And now it is so far – after 2 years of relationship, John has just decided to ask the question of all questions, only 1 month ago. And now? Yeah, what now? Well, all went pretty quick and since yesterday John thinks that he is the happiest man on this earth and is married to ‘’his” amazing Sophia.
Alright, so far so good – but how is John doing today in 2017 – almost 20 years after his marriage?
Let’s take another look.
Well, today John is 45 years old. Currently is weighting cute 250 pounds, but has no energy left for starting a more healthy diet. Furthermore he has given up on basketball and some former other hobbies, as also on some passions. Nowadays he just has a big preference for cheap booze which he sometimes (on good days) likes to enjoy with some new found friends in the city-park
He is also no more living in his luxury house from in the past, but today he lived in a cheap,
dirty 1-bedroom appartement since he cannot afford anything else, anymore.
Hm, kinda pitty, since the house was so beautiful and he has really loved it – but hey, John!
Wait a minute:
Don’t worry, because the wonderful house is still in use. Nowadays Sophia, who is now John’s
ex-wife, does live inside the house, together with John’s children for who of course, she has the only custody.
Have I forgotten someone – who else might live in, what was before, John’s house?
Ah yes, of course – Angelo, a 31 year old high-temper Italian men with who Sophia has cheated on John with. Nowadays Angelo is the new head of the family and John’s children do like him very much, but for some reason they do not like their real dad “John” anymore too much and even do not want to spend some time on only weekends with their father.
But why should they? I mean, the boring 1-bed-room-appartment from John is not a too high of temptation for visits.
On the other hand, they can just stay at weekends at ‘’their’’ house which is very big with an own home based movie-theatre and an appealing swimmingpool.
And who pays for all the luxury? Maybe the new man of the family “Angelo”?
Well, not really since a fitness-instructor does not earn too much – but no hard feelings, John had from his successful past some savings which now he is from the government forced, ehm, I mean allowed to pay as alimony for his wife and his children, which nowadays pretty much all hate him.
Well done John!

But how could it have come so far?
As many men, John has forgotten an important fact and rule when dealing with the question if and to who you should get married, which states that
marriage must be treated a lot like a business, and not so much like a question about only love.
First of all you need to understand that a marriage is a serious thing since it is a life-committing and long-term decision, and hence it is really not about some romantic “fairytale-stuff” like connecting with utopian soul-mates.
But instead of that, marriage is a long-term business decision between two entities who have the same idea of a successful marriage (examples might be: working together as a team, raising educated children, etc…) and are willing to put in the required work to make their marriage a long-term success. As a result of this, it is crucial that you make the decision for marriage analytically and carefully.
Another crucial aspect for making a marriage work is that
you need to have the right goals about your marriage
In the first place it is important to strive for minimizing the chance of divorce, since due to current laws within most countries, divorces will be always a very costly outcome for men, which will add to the emotional pain a divorce brings with it and finally will increase the level of suffering for men.
But since a divorce is never totally impossible, you should set up precautions for the above mentioned worst outcome of a divorce:
→ to not getting married in countries with extended divorce-laws and custody laws which are favouring massively and extremely the women’s’ interests while diminishing the mens’ interests, if possible. (Hint: not many countries left anymore on our planet earth which would offer here more of a fair trade)
→ Setting up before a solid marriage a settlement contract or finding ways of being discrete and not officially output all of your material and financial possessions or investments (for instance by using offshore bank accounts).
In general the most important fundamental goal of a successful marriage should be striving for having a family with a caring wife and respectful, well educated children.
Ok, so now we know what we want out from a marriage, but when is actually the right time for getting a wife?
There is an optimal time to when to get married and a non-optimal one
As a man, you want to make sure that you are emotionally and financial stable, before seeking a potential lifetime marriage and having an own family to take care of.
This is mostly since a marriage is a serious aspect and requires a lot of responsibilities in terms of organizing a well-rounded family-life, taking care of children, etc.
We get closer and closer guys!
So now we know not only, for what we are aiming for if get married, but also when to optimally choose this option.
But the vast most important parameter is still missing – the potential wife in itself and the proper selection of you future spouse.
In fact there are certain red flags for which you should look out when considering to choose a woman as your partner
→ A woman is already beyond 30 years old.
In fact, for our matter, women should not be too old since giving birth is supposedly more safe when women are young.
Also it is by experience of human history told that young woman tend to have less very strong tendencies and are more likely to adjust for the wellbeing of her husband and her family.
→ Her parents have been through a divorce.
This can be a problem since getting through a divorce, is oftentimes also for the existing offspring traumatising. Children whose parents have been separated, also oftentimes tend to develop characteristics which will lead allegedly to issues to maintain a healthy relationships themselves, later in their lives (rare exceptions do exist though, as it is always the case with “thumb of rules”).
→ She is a slut and a “party girl”
Having a constant ‘’party-goer’’ or drinker as a female partner, will not lead to a long-lasting and healthy relationship and for sure not to a potentially life-lasting marriage, since usually such women have different goals than forming constant long-lasting partnerships.
For instance, oftentimes those women are seeking for male and female validation and cannot get enough from it. Or they just like living the more easygoing lifestyle. No matter what the reasons are, finally party-goers tend to have rather short relationships if any.
The less former sexual partners she had, the better.
Since sexual infidelity is often a reason for breaking up and finally for divorce, you rather make sure that your wife has been also in her past very selective and resistant to share her sexuality with other men.
→ She refuses to sign a marriage settlement
You get solid information about, if the woman in question, is someone who is 100% serious about commitment and making a marriage work, whatever it takes. As a result of that, it is basic logic, that it is not a very good sign if a woman is reluctant to set up a marriage contract.
→ Women who do not respect you
I do strongly hope that there is no real need for me to explain in depth, that the more a woman looks up to you, the higher the chances are that a long-term partnership will work out healthy out and vice versa.
This also includes that she does not want to change anything about you. Basically, you just need to be her indisputable and one and only King.
Now, since you understand how to approach the decision of getting married or not, since you are also aware of how your goals should look like if you decide to get married and when to get married. Furthermore, on top of it since now you are also warned of the most important red flags for which you should look out when it comes to choosing wisely your spouse,
here are some final quick After-thoughts:
In today’s individual world growing old alone (not lonely) and do not marry at all, seems for a man not a too bad of an option anymore.
But getting settled with a woman and found an own family does still seem attractive to most men.
On the other hand, if you go for it, then it is crucial to know how to choose wisely and which red flags need to be avoided.
Finally I want to make clear that all of the above mentioned red flags and thoughts are on average very good guidance rules, but as it is always the case, oftentimes life is not “black or white”.
With this statement, I mean that there are always exceptions to “the rules” and it is not always 100% the case that a woman who would hit a certain red flag, is necessarily a bad choice for a good, caring wife. So just keep in mind, to be able to sometimes think outside of the box in order to identify the mentioned ‘’exceptions to the rules”. But other than this, all mentioned thoughts are for sure a very smart and good starting point for picking your “right” wife.
With this few afterthoughts, I will leave you now alone and wish all of you the best of luck for ending up in a long-term happy marriage.
Cheers and til next time:f_drink:
