Turn: (10 BB, 2 players) 4♦

River: (10 BB, 2 players) 3♠
BB checks, Hero bets 5 BB

completely readless

F - I expect c/shove or c/fold so against that range I´m gonna take a free equity
T - here I don´t see so much value, he mostly gives it up and sometimes he slowplays and I want to induce some river bluff
R - I have ever seen missed cbet with the polarized range so I thing there could be a valuebet against low flushes and Ahigh bluffcatchers (he could to level himself that I´m beting flushes on the turn) - what do you thing about the sizing?

I´m not geting myself often into this spot so please tell me if my thought process is ok or not.

Thank you

A higher flush is a small part of his range, because he hasn't bet one street.
I like the value bet on the river but I would make it about 3BB or 3.5 BB to get more calls from smaller flushes and possibly A-high.

True. But how much weak flushs are in his 3bet range? (I'd guess that pop tendency isnt't 3bet bluffing very wide on 15s)

I don't think there's a lot of value in a bet really.

+ He might know that we are never bluffing here.

Do you think they are beting FD one street? I think they are c/shoving those hands

On the river I think their c/calling range doesn´t change enough by the sizing and my 5bb value bet have to work not so often as like as 3bb bet.

Edit: ok I get you now - you're saying we don't have a value-bet with Td but also that he won't fold very much. So essentially that he has Qd or Jd a lot when he plays like this?

I think I do disagree about the not bluffing - because I think it's likely we can indeed fold out some A-high and Q-high. But then yea - it's unlikely Td will be called by worse often enough to make it a good bet.

I'm fairly convinced though that it's an ok bet in a vacuum when the possibility of an A-high hero-call exists (don't think it does though).

Hm, Teddy for sure is right if we ask "is there enough worse calling our bet to make it profitable". And I am also aware of this concept.

So maybe my plan is not the best, but Im betting cause I think we have the best hand most of the time. I guess Q :diamond: is at least betting one street. So yeah, theres a possibility hes not betting J :diamond: . Dont know the chances he is and he isnt, but I guess he would bet sometimes.

So imo hes having a worse hand more often than not, so thats why I bet. I give him the chance to call with worse. But if hes to less calling with worse (50%?), than maybe I should also follow the known concept. Atm my personal approach is just to bet if I think I have the best hand most of the time. Maybe I should stop this again.

But cause its also a bluff spot for us, we could Vbet this thin imo.
