Ermittelt werden die Erdbeben über die Beschleunigungssensoren in Festplatten (es müssen mehrere gleichzeitig anschlagen um lokale Erschütterungen auszuschliessen) oder zusätzliche Detektoren, die man an den PC anschliessen kann.
