Vorab Nr. 2: Stars hat das Problem mit den sich aufblähenden notes.xml Dateien noch nicht in den Griff bekommen. Sie arbeiten aber "mit Hochdruck an einer Lösung". Wie Ihr trotzdem mit notes und ohne Lags weiterspielen könnt, erfahrt ihr bereits auf den ersten drei Seiten.

da es noch keinen Thread zu dem Thema gibt und ich ein paar Fragen habe, die vielleicht auch andere noch haben, öffne ich diesen hier.
Die notes.txt Datei wurde ergänzt durch die notes.xml Datei. Die Syntax ist anders als bei der alten Datei.
Alte Syntax:
[player=Max Mustermann]
{1}
SNG 27 - Fish
Neue Syntax:
<note player="Max Mustermann" label="1">SNG 27 - Fish</note>
Offensichtlich ist die XML Datei nicht mehr direkt editierbar oder zumind nicht mit einem normalen notepad. Man kann allerdings notes hinzufügen, indem man in der alten oder neuen Syntax eine txt-Datei erstellt und diese dann importiert über eine neue Option in der Starssoftware.
Beachtet hierzu auch die Email von Poker Stars:

Due to recent improvements to the software, your notes will now be stored in XML file format (notes.xml) instead of Text File Format (notes.txt). Note that the client will automatically change your notes from one format to the other; however, if you have problems getting your old notes to work, or you need to import new notes from other files, here is how to do it:
1) Open the PokerStars client
2) Options > Player Notes Management > Import Additional Player Notes
3) Locate your notes.txt file. Please note that for Windows XP and older, these files are stored in My Computer > Local Disk > Program Files > PokerStars. For Windows Vista, these files are stored in My Computer > Local Disk > Users > [UserName] > AppData > Local > PokerStars.
4) Select your notes.txt file
5) Click on Open
At this point all the notes in the file will be added to the new notes file format. In addition, please note that the Player Notes Management feature allows you to change the notes file location.
To do this, simply click on Options > Player Notes Management > Player Notes File Location...

Noch eine Frage: Ich habe die XML Datei gelöscht, die alte notes.txt editiert um die Einträge, welche neu waren und dann wie oben beschrieben eine neue notes.xml erstellen lassen. Jedoch ist die XML Datei 49KB, während die alte notes.txt 83KB groß war. Wie kann das sein?
