call here and see what he does river , it may be a draw , you can also turn your hand into a bluff but that's not a good idea because the range of this donk is often a monster so I guess calling there and fold to a big bet river is ok

It's donkbet. Just raise him.

what do you want to acomplish by raising ? fold the worst hands and get shoved by draws or better so you can fold easily ? not a good idea

Raising is bad on the flop.
He won´t fold his weak ace, if he is bluffing then he is probably drawing dead, if he is drawing then you´re still ahead and you don´t have to build big pot.
I´d call turn and probably facing 12$ bet on the river, which I´d probably also call.
And I´ve not seen people limp/calling often with Ax and then donking out the flop. So I guess he mostly has on draw.

with all due respect, that's pretty stupid imo

Raising is often my standard when I am facing donks. I do it with air and made hands as well. In this case, against unknown, we have some kind of showdown value and therefore I like to call flop and turn and reevaluate river.

raising here is so ... -EV. it accomplishes nothing. we are IP and we gain enough information with a call from his turn action anyway
