I think until the river it is standard. I was going to bet/fold the river but still decided to call his bet. Because i thought that I dont think he has so much 8x hands in his range, also BDFlush is unlikely.

I don't think there is too much value in betting again on the river if you don't have a good idea of villain's hand range. Villain would have too put you on a stone cold bluff in order too call you down with worse on the river and the board really sucks to be bluffing on.

I would definitely fold the river as played since you can't expect to be ahead often enough to justify call.

Vbetting River is mandatory. He can call with 99-QQ.
River spot is kinda ugly cause 88 22 are unlikely. But because ur deep he can have 87s 89s A8s kinda hand in his range. Plus is this villain really turning a made hand into a bluff after u fired 3 barrels? I don´t like to fold cause he is repping so little but i think fold ist better than call.

I bet $6 on the flop and as played $14 on the turn.

On the river I'd definitely valuebet, I also like your betsizing.

I am also very tempted to call the c/r since I agree with Becks: He doesn't rep a whole lot of hands.
8x is very unlikely as I think he would fold it the vast majority of the time on the turn since even his 2pair-outs are counterfeited.
I also think 2x is unlikely, he should usually just fold all 2x on the flop.

Hi,

against that particular villain, I'd check behind, to make his play with 66 or 8x bad. i think that he played perfectly against you when you called. I'd also think, that fold is better than calling on river, but I would hate to fold it.

Best regards,
Anin

Here he showed me 99 quite surprisingly. I also thought that fold is better. dont know why he turned that into a bluff.

Because he would have to fold it otherwise and he probably thought you're folding often enough to make a c/r +EV.
