this statements are contrary (btw am i write it correct?) You either betting for value or folding better hands. Here i very doubt you can fold better hands (JJ?)
So i think check is ok while there was almost zero draws on flop. Fold on river is good for the same reason - he just doesnt have air here and his not betting worse even after turn check (btw 99 gets there)

Sometimes I like betting turn here to balance our range + people expect us to secondB a K turn as bluff so we can definitely be called by worse if villain is thinking player.

Checking turn is fine aswel, I usually mix it up between betting and checking => depends on what kind of player villain is.

On the river however I agree with VzLOM, I don't see villain bluffing enough to make call profitable and I also believe that villain will check hands like 9T/77/JJ etc

The only time I see villain bluffing is when he peeled the flop with an Ax hand but I don't think that's a big part of his range and he might decide to fold those on the flop aswel.

That 9 is just a bad card because it does complete the few draws this board had to offer so that would be another reason for me to fold.

Don't see too many Kx-hands in his range on river, so all he's repping is 6x, 88, 99 (75s?). Betsizing looks superstrong, very close spot imo. It's also a decent spot for villain to bluff since you almost never have Kx or better on river.

I'd prefer balancing your bluffs with a turn bet.

Not only if he's a thinking player, a fish can also call because he doesn't like to fold ♦. So I also start with betting this until I have reasons not to do so.

Agree, he doesn't call too many Ax on the flop - and if he did it probably was because he thought he has SD-value, so he might not bet.

I think so, too. When a seemingly passive player pots it on the river I'd give him credit as long as I'm not sure how he plays.
