appreciate views from peeps on whether this is a good bargain, and more importantly, is it sufficient for pokerz?
(to run 4 tbls of 'zoom' / 6-9 reg tbls / HEM2 / skype / chrome etc.)
also, what are the advantages of a desktop PC as opposed to a laptop or 'ultrabook' as this is apparently categorised as
Toshiba Portege refurbished laptop (unsure of model #)
- i7 w' 4x2.7 GHz
- 8GB DDR3 RAM
- 120GB SSD HDD
- intel hd 3000 graphics
- 13.3" HD widescreen
- dvd writer/card reader/wireless N/webcam/bluetooth/hdmi/USB3
- Windows 7 pro, incl. avast anti-virus, and Office 2010 starter.
£350.- incl. 12 month warranty
- the only downsides I can think of are the small screen which will be of minimal practical detriment as I wil be connecting to a monitor/TV mostly, and possibly problems down the line if I want to upgrade to a second monitor set-up.
- this 'ultrabook' seems to have all the spec. I was looking for in a desktop, but at a far-reduced price, so looks good to me
- any issues/problems envisaged from forumites?
- and any advice gratefully received!
