You will have to do some research yourself, its recommended if you want to run a virtual pc without too much issues. But you can find the rest from there.

On the sidenote: anyone expert on the topic, as online poker players we are mostly concerned about keyloggers, cant they just infect your virtual os just the same?

I'm an it professionnal and let's me say it's way more complicated than just using an Virtual Machine but yes, it goes in the good way.

What you can do to maximize you security :

- Using a Virtual Machine
- Having your real Machine having no internet connection almost ( only for update / upgrade )
- Using antivirus ( and daily updates )
- Using software like truecrypt to encrypt real disk and image disk
- Using software like keypass to have hard to remember but secure password ( and different on each site )
- Having OS update frequently
... and so on ...

Bashar if you are still around, i might need your advice with an issue. I got robbed by russians on stars. Bad part is i keep antivirus and firewall up to date, asked people who know more about the stuff and no trace of any troian or keylogger, yet its 100% sure that i had/have one.

Scary part is that i constantly have antivirus and firewall up and avoid any random site browsing.

On the sidenote, they also knew when i had an inactive period and logged in during that, so it might be more than just keylogging.

The easiest way to avoid such problems is to use two-steps authentification with the token from the vip boutique.
Star is the only room to propose such authentification which really improvable security.
