This is a general discussion thread for DoTA2, which is currently in beta on valve's steam platform. It is a sequal to the Defence of the Ancients Warcraft 3 map which is extremely popular worldwide.

I was playing hon a few months ago till the big patch killed my game. Basically the game crashed when it tried to load. Installed it multiple times.
Defiantly a plus that dota 2 will be "free" on official release. I definitely think the games has the potential to be the top moba. In my opinion is is superior to both hon/lol. Skillcap is much higher than lol. Hon is tough on systems. Doesn't help that the client blows.
