Have a green light indicating when someone is online or not in the forums and even in the community profiles. Place the green light next to their avatar.

Hi Jordan,
There is an indicator (the spades icon) immediately to the left of the "Search" button at the bottom of each forum post, however this aspect isn't currently active. I'm pretty sure that this is something that will be developed in the future, but have no idea on when it will be implemented exactly.
I think your friend icons in the community page do light up green when they are online, but would need to check with the admins/technical people to confim this and whether it is when they are online (in the forum) or just within the community area.
I'll check and get back to you shortly (probably Monday/Tuesday) if that's ok
