I am a GOLD Member and have hundreds of dollars on Mansion... I got my parents to join as I can receive the referral reference and give them a chance to play online without risking anything... My father created an account and sent in all of his documents within the last 23 hours and here is the message he received: ____________________________________________________________ Hello *********, We are sorry to say that, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions, we have decided to not transfer you the $50 starting capital and to close your account. We have taken this step since you did not manage to pass our security check and we have reason to believe that you have registered with multiple accounts. We are not able to give you further details, as this information could theoretically be abused to circumvent our security system. It is certainly possible that our security system can occasionally lead to the closure of "innocent" accounts, as yours might be. If this is the case, we wish to extend our utmost apologies. A security system can however only function if we take consequent action. That is why our decision stands and will not be changed in retrospective. He was looking forward to playing...any ideas to what action I can take? I am almost certain there are somegaming lawd PS is breaking...possibly not informing the public up front what they are making off each player that signs up through them? My father is a police officer and well he is looking into the gaming commission for all of the poker sites associated with PokerStrategy... why give Pokerstrategy a chance to respond when they didn't give my father a chance? Thanks...

i dont know the exact numbers, als in the early days of PokerStrategy the starting capital was $5 instead of $50.
just used the nice round number for convenience ♦

I've just read this entire article and I'm hoping same thing doesn't happen to me. I registered with the same address as my step bro as we live together and he told me about the site. Didn't see the part where it allowed me to enter him for the tell a friend scheme so I've just registered myself. Oh dear, my accounts well gettin shut down... lets hope for the best.

@ ussie, I think ur post is gonna get edited! But anyway, I think PS is better than any other site that gives you a free bankroll, their articles are whats most important not the free $50, with pokerstrategy any player/fish/donk can become a winning player.

I have to say I laughed at this. And as already pointed out, the strating capital is not what's important here

It's a nice bonus though.

After having failed the quiz 5 times you were honestly not going to get it either.

Our site isn't based around giving players $50 - but giving them starting capital and helping them move up the limits by teaching them. This is where the true value of PokerStrategy lies - not within our initial investment.

Good luck in your career.
