My strategy points have not been refreshed for over a week now. is something wrong maybe and i need only one point to become gold member and last wednesday was refreshed but this week has not!

As a poker player you should be patient. Yes, it's kinda annoying, but there is nothing PokerStrategy can do if PartyPoker decides to be a jerk.
I as well can't wait for the next update, because I'll be at silver level then and I can't wait to read those articles. 
But you don't see me complaining..
(Disclamer: This was NOT a complaint!)

But as you already mentioned: we are dependent on the lists we are getting from PartyPoker. I assure you that we are updating the status as soon as it is possible.

While we're on this topic. How's the points updating with other poker rooms? Is PartyPoker the only one who acts as a jerk or do other do that as well? I'm specially intrested in FullTiltPoker, might move to there when I have big enough bankroll
