AK vs High Pair

Hi there,
I'm a new member on pokerstrategy and only recently started playing on partypoker in .05/.10 FL tables. My question is that on the starting hands chart for very strong hands it has the top 3 pairs AA KK QQ then / AKS AKo, does this mean that all 3 pairs are stronger than AKs and AKo and why is it that these are valued above the strong hands like JJ/TT etc which are already potentially "made" hands? Also why is the suggestion raise on AKo or s instead of call considering that you will likely not hit pair or better on the flop.

AK=

- Higher card
- Overpair, top kicker (board has an A)
- Top pair, top kicker (board has a K)
- Best Two pair (board has K and A)
- Best trips or second best trips (board has KK or AA)
- nut / 2nd nut full house (board has AAK or KKA)
- nut straight (board has TJQ)
- nut flush (board has 3 suited cards for AKs or board has 4 suited cards for AKo).
- nut straight flush = royal flush.

With 5 cards to come, AK is basically a coin-flip to win against any pocket pairs up to QQ.

AK is like elf, hella imba and only imba hu+tower (in this case AA and KK) really dominates them

- 73% favorite against any other ace

- 74% favorite against any other king

- 47%-43% dog against any pairs deuces up to queens
(the equity decreases the higher the pair, because the possibility of a counterfeit underpair becomes smaller)

- 31% dog against kings

- 8% dog against aces – that's the worst possible case
(the only hands that do "quite well" against aces are suited connectors from T9s to 65s)
