Hey. Thanks :)

Unfortunately this Coaching will not be held any more in 2012.
Next weeks (27th of December) Coaching will be the last one.

I really regret this because it was always fun to do this coaching. :)

But i will keep on producing Videos for the English Community.

Merry Christmas and good luck :)

Such a great coaching.

Its 22:21 now and we are still talking about some aspects of FL.
It has now been the last coaching for the english community with Cornholio.
I very feel so sorry for all who are involved by the decision of pokerstrategy.com.

I also wanted to say that i can understand it .. unfortunatly.
But here is a good hint for pokerstrategy...

DONT LET THIS MAN GO !

The quality of his coachings, his explanations and the fact that he is doin soo much for the FL Comunity are reasons just to give him the job back :P

Well, i am glad to hear that he will produce some videos and will join Byron from time to time. Also he is going to have the german slot which is a must ! ^^

Thanks for all your work Corn and thanks for helping me out so many times.
Cya

Hi Corn, thanks alot for posting my requested hand..

At the game and with the flow i was thinking that this would be a perfect spot to steal the pot ! So what about just betting the flop ?
If u betout on SB i even think that some Regs m8 fold.. I am not sure how the tablesituation was, but u only had regs against u..

Can u suggest Spots were to donk out ? or bet out the flop ? I mean .. u fill up with a hand that is .. trash .. i get your outs and odds but if u hit that board like that .. and have a solid tableimage .. i think betting is better than check fold ..

These are things that i am struggeling about .. having troubles .. because i attend to fill up pretty lightly in the SB with noone raising before .. but when i see such a flop, i think its ok to bed out ??

Mfg

Hey!

In fact in these situations on the Flop - multiway unraised oop- i follow a generell approach that looks somehow like that:

4 way:
I think you rarely find spots where it is profitable to bet out with nothing. There a 3 guys behind you and normally the chance is too high that one of them has a hand to continue with.
Therefore I would only bet with a hand that has a decent chance to be ahead.

if we look at this situation its not so much about "stealing the Pot", because you more or less do have a decent hand that could be ahead.
the question only is: Are you ahead often enough to invest 1 SB OOP in a small pot?
I think this spot is close, especially OOP you should not be willing to get involved in a small pot easily.
But I agree with your suggestion for the right play: propably your hand is good enough to just lead out- a lot of hands will fold right away and if you get action you can easily fold, I wouldnt expect action from worse hands
(including bluffs).
but- I wasn´t always planing to fold after checking: In fact I wanted to see the action to gain some information an then make a decision: Against bet and raise I have an easy fold, against check check bet, I could have raised..
also when the turn would have been a 2-8, I would have let out. The A I didn´t like too much so i decided to give up.

In 3 way pots I would also lead out as a bluff sometimes, this board would be pretty ok, mabe Q62 beeing even better.

BTW: Watch out for some 2Coaches-Coachings together with Byron Jacobs in his Coaching Slot in the future..

Damn. I haven't been able to make this coaching for a while due to other commitments. Gutted to see it's finished but many thanks for all your efforts and i hope it may return at some stage.

How about some more vids ?

p.s. the coaching session with the GIANT (your words) Hornet invading your room still makes me laugh.
