fixed limit is not dead?

I would pick Fixed Limit over any other variant. especially as a beginner, its rather simple to get into and the more you learn the more you figure out there is to learn. Traffic wise you can only find it on PokerStars sadly. variance is the same as any other poker variant. up and down. But you get to play more for your money. well longer because you cant go all in. I would recommend it to anyone and even if they have tried nl and like it they should give FL a try. traffic other stakes is lacking, you really only get really good tables at 2/4c up to 10/20c.. 25/50c and above you really need to be quite better due to the many good and decent regs beginning occupying the tables.

Agree with Ava in all spots. Also, there is an important point about the Americans. If they are allowed back online, FL will blossom again. It was HUGE at e.g. Full Tilt a few years back. Another point; get reasonably good at all or most forms of poker. Playing FL makes you (paradoxically) a better NL player (you get to practice reading boards), playing NL makes you better at FL (you get better at reading opponents). Etc, etc...

My sessions in FLpoker ends about 15min playing... ZZZZZzzzzzzz how boring...:f_confused::f_confused::f_eek:
