I don't think it's written anywhere... I always buy in for 40 BBs, but you won't do anything wrong with 50 BBs. Basically since you can't get allin it doesn't matter if you buyin for your entire BR, because you will very rarely lose your entire stack. However if you tend to play really stupid when tilting, you rather stick to 40-50 BBs. ♦
Can you please suggest me, when to leave the table? what sort of win/loss goal do you make for yourself, before you start to play? Thanks
there is no win/lose goal for a session. Leave when you dont play your A game or when the table gets bad for you(however on micro stakes that should rarely be the case)
Leave with the fish. 
Sometimes you notice that too late and being stuck with TAGs and playing the same game as before can cost you money...
Definitely the best that could be happen to a player is to have a drunk one on the table :))))

As you can't bet more than 12BB in any given hand (ie 4SB pre flop, 4SB flop, 4BB turn, 4BB river) as long as you have more than 12BBs in your stack before the start of the hand you will never ever miss any value in your hand because you run out of chips.
In practice this means either setting an auto rebuy function to top up to at least 12BB before each hand (ie on $.25/$.50 this would be $6) or make sure you have at least double that when you start (ie 24BB or $12 using the $.25/$.50 example).
In practice you are highly unlikely to ever use more than 10BB in any given hand but you will kick yourself when you eventually flop quads v a full house KK v AA on an AKK board.

Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but in some games, when the action goes heads up, the cap is lifted and you can reraise an infinite number of times. This is true at the cardroom where I play live. Perhaps some guidelines could be posted reflecting how to behave in this situation.

For sure there are some rooms that allow players to go allin, not just HU either. The basic rule is to try not to lose value because you run out of chips. Over your lifetime I doubt you lose too much value here but if you want to add some comfort then buy in for 24BB or 30BB. Go nuts with the nuts, don't go over a 4bet on any street without them.
IMHO obviously.
What a nice work you did here. I think the most important areas are sticking to starting hand chart and bankroll management.
