Capture any session that you make. Search some people around you that want to do session analyzes. Once you will have read all the articles all the thing and it is just up to yourself.
There is no perfect play that you can get out of books. Every hand and situtation depends on so many factors that you just cant get all out of books or forums.

1BB+ is truly exceptional I think, especially on a high-rake site
I think personally it is site dependend. For what I know Stars is realy tough but on a higher rake site like Pacific you can get with a solid game easy a 1+ BB/100 rate.
