Flop raise can be made for various reasons...
two very obvious reasons:
-for value when you think oponent will call you down lighter
-as fastplay when you want further action
little more subtle:
-when you think he may check a lot of hands on the turn but will most likely pay calldown to flop raise...like when he has Ahigh he will often not cbet turn but will call you flop raise and turnbet
-as balance if you often bluffraise IP
