Pretty old hand, but it was the greatest way to start off a MTT. So sick.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00+$0.10 Tournament, 10/20 Blinds (9 handed)

Button (t1500)
SB (t1500)
BB (t1500)
UTG (t1500)
Hero (UTG+1) (t1500)
MP1 (t1500)
MP2 (t1500)
MP3 (t1500)
CO (t1500)

Hero's M: 50.00

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with J, K
1 fold, Hero bets t60, 3 folds, CO calls t60, Button calls t60, SB calls t50, 1 fold

Flop: (t260) J, K, K (4 players)
SB bets t80, Hero raises to t180, CO calls t180, 1 fold, SB calls t100

Turn: (t800) 10 (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets t420, CO calls t420, SB raises to t1260 (All-In), Hero calls t840 (All-In), CO calls t840 (All-In)

River: (t4580) 9 (3 players, 3 all-in)

Total pot: t4580

Results:
SB had A, 7 (flush, Ace high).
Hero had J, K (full house, Kings over Jacks).
CO had Q, 10 (straight, King high).
Outcome: Hero won t4580

Hi,

As i said this hand is very old. I was a huge noob back then. This was before i was apart of Poker Strategy. Would never play KJ UTG+1 again. But the whole reason why i posted this hand was because how sick it was. Everyone had the nuts. But they were bigger noobs for chasing straights and flushes with a paired board.

cool, it's always funny to look back and laugh a bit. I have my hand history saved where I lost with straight flush to a higher straight flush losing a huge $4 dollar pot , and I tilted after that

funny stuff.

I doubt you'd have folded on a QQT board with your KJ

Huh?

Well maybe that was the wrong terminology. But one guy had the nut flush draw and hit, another guy hit his OESD and little did they know i already flopped the nuts...so sick.
