15/30 with 8k seems way underrolled... Nice progress though.

yeah i know its not 300 big bets like many suggest. But when I see the extreme fishy players, i just cant help myself.

What is most interesting to me is that you play only one, max two, tables. Seems like you are looking for very specific targets, and are doing very well when you find them. At those levels, you wouldn't need many to make a good profit, dependent on being able to play successfully against them, which you seem to do.

thats honestly exactly what i have been doing sense i started 3 weeks ago. look for a table with atleast one weak player (most tables at this stake have 1-2 for sh and 1-4 for fr) and then capatalize on their weakness. I cant say for certain because I dont use these tracking systems but I am fairly certain I average 4-12 big bets per hour.

for me this has been the coolest thing about online poker compared to live. I can pick and choose my table online, where as live its just what table is open.

For 15-20 days, with starting capital of 50$, playing a few hours a day , "sometimes 30minutes", one table to read your opponents , you made 5000+...ummm...dude, are you Chris Ferguson undercover or sth?! That looks ridiculous..and that's at limit...

that sounds like a complement, so if it is thank you :).

I am at $8400 now. But I havent yet played today, so hopfully today we can hit 9k if I do decide to play :).

Btw I can play no limit or pot limit games also. I just find limit to be steadier.

So your plan is to be playing 50/100 within 2 months after you first started playing online poker. (Freerolls arent real poker)
I think you should gather a bit more experience before going there , because there are 2 chances : Either you are a huge talent , or you are on a huge upswing. And the blow will be pretty hard if you are the latter ~_~.

I am also wondering about what is your play style on NL , when you are 1 tabling.

:P :) ;) :( ;( :] =) (Bunny spam)

im waiting till im at minimum 25k till the 50/100 grinding but probally more in the area of 30-40k.

i used to go play the freerolls win them then turn that money into bankrolls and cash out, so far to date ive cashed 183 freerolls. Sometime or another though I decided I wanted to give live play a try and thats when I first started making my living with poker, just grinding 2/4 nlhe tables or the 10/20 limit tables.

As for my play style on any game wether its limit, or not limit, I just play against my table however I feel is best. I try to find their weaknesses and play against them, and I try to find their strengths and either counter them or avoid their strengths completely. I can play tight, I can play loose, I try to remain cammillion like and adapt to my table rather then playing one certain way.

As for my current status I am at $8900 and still playing either 8/16 or 15/30 limit omaha 8 (usually decided by which game looks fishier and more profitable).

p.s love the bunny spam.

i geuss for some it can be. but to be honest most people playing o8 arnt very good, while many that play hold em are atleast halfway decent. ill be the first to admit that a lot of my success online is due to the horrible opponents i am facing. I purposely wait for juicy fishy games, rather then just join the first game i see. much more plus ev to wait for the really good games then to grind a tough game for hours.

haha i learned a new term for online today... EV .

$9300 now btw.

wau! that's what I call bankroll progress

can you tell us how many hands did you play from micro limits till now?

im sorry ancha i have no idea at all. i dont use those tracker systems.

I have started to use the player notes option on fulltilt though. its great for quickly identifying weakness or strength in your opponents.

nice progress

i was actually thinking of limit games myself...due the stability to grind. far smaller swings, decent cash on decent reading. even tho i luv NLH.

so you grew the original 50 from ps to 9000 in 2 months?
Without multitabling, only playing 2 tables at a time?

Possibilities

1) your playing 24 hours a day.
2) You have made no mistakes.
3)Played your whole roll on high limits and just kept moving up with it.
4) Your lonely and enjoy the comments you get for the apparent success!

:)

It doesn't. Read the thread, perhaps?

hmmm probably 1 and 3. suicide BRM ftw!

Getting to platinum within your first month means you've been playing well above the level you should be.

You've been very lucky. You should be getting your pokertracker/PAHUD licences soon, so we can have a look at your stats, if you want to post them.

Go to the top of this page and R-E-A-D .
