We demand more awesome plays!
Do you feel me ?
Do you feel the power baby ?
But sometimes you just have to make a play and sometimes you have to just gamble to make some money .. thats poker baby.
1st hand you set mine pre-flop then hit your 3 and take down the pot with a raise. That is an amazing play i've never seen that done before!!!
2nd hand you managed to get a guy with KK to get it all in pre-flop. Wow this really proves your skills. What a donkey he is you should try and play more pots against this guy!!!
3rd you raised from the BTN with a decent hand then made a c-bet on a dry board!! WTF is so special about that?? Are you just pleased you managed to play some standard poker??
Our next topic will be when to C-bet and when not to C-Bet.
for example this is when not to c -bet
Fail pot sized C-bet , I called the c-bet on a draw , I had a 6 outer draw with my 777 . Unfortunatly I didnt hit an A or K on turn or river which would make your hand improve to 2nd best in which I can extract more money from ur donkey hand.
Another Fail c-bet I check raise you because lets be honest , if i donk bet you would probably fold since you missed flop.
Now think about this , if I called your raise , Do you seriously think you are ahead before flop with your AK or AQ vs any hand I would call you with ?? There fore your C-bet is a chip leak .
Looks like someone has been reading my playbook and tried to make a maniac move on me today.
I love how he check raises to make it look like he has AA or something.
Stupid move cause this is what happens son.
"There were raises behind you - you go all in with TT JJ QQ KK AA AK"
Hmm i have JJ , ok all in
To be honest im not really confident im ahead however i have great faith in pokerstrategy.com so do as instructed and make the more . here is the hand.
Anyways , I only had one bad beat this session and since this weeks topic is the c-bet I will show you why c-bet can be bad
Now i know the villian is a gambler , he has 40% vol ip so when he just calls I know he could have anything so I decide to c-bet which was a mistake because im actually behind.. on turn I improve and I pretty much get him all in on turn with 33% to win .
Now in this hand I c-bet with KK when A hits board .. Damn Ace magnets, when he bets turn it could be steal but I don't have read on player so Ill give him credit this time
"flush was also possible "
I mean if I checked this flop I fold easily to a bet, If I c-bet I am forced to check turn which makes it easy for him to steal , either way as soon as he calls the c-bet im screwed unless a K came on turn .
Now this is what a c-bet should be .. Notice I flop a flush draw , My hand has great chance to improve and the guy checked so I really feel I can steal this hand .. I fire another semi bluff on turn and he calls . WOW A3 HEELLLO anyone home?>??
,,
I love your analysis, man. I trully do. ALWAYS c-bet with KK on A high board, it makes so much sense. Why check/calldown, of course c-bet this. You will get called by 3 high occasionally. Also you can hit your two outer. Wow.
I'd like you to release an instructional video, because lately I've been struggling with my NL2 game and now desperately seek improvement. Your sophisticated insights and out of the box thinking, combined with your poker grace and compassion for the unorthodox play making would generate an awesome video which would be a thriller to watch.
I think the community agrees with me - we want a video where you play and at the same time analyse the game and your opponents.
