I see your point about that not being a great thought process. You might find this interesting to think about:

small disclaimer: I see you play micro-stakes so your opponent is likely not as aggressive as he should be (some people never even 3bet without AA), but this should just demonstrate how good JJ is in this spot!

Imagine you open a 40% range here. If you fold more than 53% he autoprofits.

Now Imagine you 4bet 47% of the time and he 5bets, now he autoprofits if you fold more than 54.5% of the time.

You have to shove the remaining 45.5% of your hands or he'll run you over.

40% * 0.47 = 18.8% 4bet range.

18.8 * 0.455 = 8.5% shoving range.

Where is JJ in the list of hands? Why if you select JJ+ AK you have just 3% of hands. You need twice that number of hands in your shoving range and then some.
