Well, i made a promise with my wife that if i started playing online poker i wouldnt put any creditcards on. and I did the 50$ credit thing a while back and it was very helpful. but the other night my 14 year old son went on my pokerstars account and lost 120$ now i am left with only $.96. That reminds me of a funny story.
After my first year in university, I found a job for the summer in a pizza place. It was located in (what I know now, but didn't know then) a very crummy area.
During my second week, one night, a guy walks in looking somewhat desheveled and kinda frantic. He comes in and he starts telling me a wild story about how his car broke down, and he needs to pick up his kid or wife and that I could come and see the car if I wanted and if I could please give him $20 for a cab ride.
Now, I am a somewhat generous person and I like to help out. He looked decent enough and coherent. I started asking some questions because I was thinking about giving him some cash (not $20) and letting him use the phone (even though he never asked to use the phone).
My boss comes straight out of the back, and yells at him to get out, never come back, get away from other people's cars etc...
I was puzzled. After the guy left, I asked my boss why he did that.
Turns out the guy was a crackhead!
And that wouldn't be the only crackhead I encountered that summer.
