Its in a sense a "stupid" question since I know Ive read it somewhere on the site but I cant seem to remember where now. Anywho, how is it you calculate the winrate? BB/100hands? And a BB in NL isnt just a big blind is it? Yeah Im quuuuite new so.. Ive just recently started to really try to learn even more stuff after a somewhat ignorant first period hehe. Ive even started to post hands for help ^^

Its just like it says.
for example,if you have a winrate of 8BB/100 at NL10 over 50k hands
you won [8*(0.10)/100]*500
And yeah,the BB in 8BB/100 is just a Big Blind.

You just divide the amount of money you won by the BB of the limit.
after that you divide this value by the amout of hand and multiply it with 100.
Example:
1/2$ Fixed Limit BB is 2$
You won 100$ and played 1000 hands
100$ / 2 = 50BB won
50BB / 1000 = 0.05BB per hand
0.05 BB * 100 = 5BB per 100 hands (5BB / 100)
Now in one step:
100$ / 2 / 1000 * 100 = 5BB / 100
To make it easier to calculate you simply can delete 2 "0" from the hands you played and you got the summary... that because BB won/1000 * 100 = BB won / 10
100$ / 2 / 10 = 5BB / 100.
I hope it isn't to complicated (its 3 times the same just faster each time)
At NL you calculate with PTBB (PokerTrackerBB) because at FL smallblind/bigblind is different to smallbet/bigbet.
So you just calculate NL BB * 2 = PTBB.
Example:
NL1000 (Blinds 5/10$)
PTBB = 20$
200$ won on 1000 hands
200$ / 20$ = 10 PTBB
1 PTBB / 100.
But normally you calculate with stack at NL because its easier to go with (or whatever ^^ I don't play NL)

Another beginner's question: what does the "1000" mean in NL 1000? Is it the maximum amount you can take to the table? And is the big blind always 1% of this amount?
Yes, although sometimes in brick and mortar games you can buy-in with more then 100 Big Blinds. But online i don't know that you can do that. Although i think somewhere NL5 or somewhere in the micro limits you can buy in with more but don't know exactly. In general you are right that NL1000, the "1000" means the maximum amount you can buy in with, in general 100big blinds which would answer your second question that the big blind is always 1%

Yeah its NL5, the max buyin is larger, if it followed the standard it would only be NL4
