I was recently the "lucky" recipient of a $10 free bonus from Party Poker and was wondering what to do with it.

Inspired by this post I spent $3 on a 50 seat Limit Holdem SNG. Despite never playing Limit before I somehow managed to win this so now have $43.

Hmmmm, wonder what I should do next. ♦

you know i was playing HU plo against some gut last night on full tilt and i see in the chat back an observer says " GL POGODON".. he then went on to tell me he was inspired by this thread and with 80c he won $35....

anyway i lost some pots with best startin hands like AA KK QQ AK
but the weird part is i won triple pot sizes with 99 j8suited and believe it or not 33 so i got used to fold aces on flop or turn when i know im beat ... im not omaha specialist and i kinda hate NLH HU cuz i always get russians HU and they donk me out so i stick to my SNG's and MTT's and RUSH . btw playing some 5card draw too....can u tell when can i catch u on tables ? i wonna obs it see ya around

Not sure what game your playing. This is true in chess. But there's this thing called variance in poker. And 15-20bi brm at plo does not seem even close to safe brm to me personally.

Thus by implying that you are either saying one of the following:
1 His brm is fine if he's an amazing player.
2 You do not need decent brm in poker to be succesful if your good enough.

I find both of them to be false. Ofcourse there is a point where your winrate is so big is so big that you can play with such agressive brm. I however do not believe such a winrate is realistically possible at the state poker is currently in. 10 years ago.. maybe.. right now... unlikely.

Wrong again. He said himself he is now practising safe BRM. He was only not doing so as he earned the original money. Thus he has the ability to keep on winning if he is good enough as I stated, but without a greater sample size noone can be sure. As i stated previously...

Your response makes no sense. Your basicaly saying 1 that his brm is fine. i do not believe he ever moved down limits after saying he was practicing brm. Technically i believe he was following some sort of brm almost from the start. Just not good/safe brm. 2 BI brm is still brm.

I do not believe he ever said he practiced safe or decent brm. And i can't be bothered looking over all his posts to see what he exactly said.
