not really, the great beaches in mactan are in the following hotels, shangrilla ( where APPT cebu was held ) crimson hotel, plantation bay. rest of the resorts in mactan are meh...
king style villas will cost around 300-500$ a day.
if you really want long stretches of white sand and the island life feel to it. you would have to go out of cebu hahahaha

phillippines has summer/winter? thought it was just wet/dry season O.o. beach kinda looks like it's in Phuket :P.
no winter. just summer and rainy season ü (yeah i know that doesnt sound parallel) altho its also sunny during rainy season and it also rains during summer :/
we actually have four seasons...
wet, hot, very wet, very hot and the extreme's are like no other hahahaha
but tom and friends are leaving for WSOP sometime july - aug think and that's when the very wet season comes in.
this year we had the the record of hottest day broken 4 times in one summer in cebu. just so you know
