but continue to play $6 turbo STT.

Are you 5% BRM? Because if you are 5% then $10 SNG is right in your BRM!

I've had some success with STT. I am still figuring them out. They play interestingly. I'd say watch your position. Don't think you can win a big hand and relax, your chips leave quickly because of the blinds. Play fundamentally sound, especially when you go into higher limits. Take smart chances. Hands like A10 in early position are a death sentence. If you have a speculative hand and someone raises behind, don't even take the chance. I like to be the one to shove. Play small pairs smart because anyone calling will have over cards. Be careful with an ace and a low kicker. People will call with any ace and it sucks to be behind and called. To place first you will have to get lucky at some point. Make sure you lose because of a suckout, not because you made a mistake.

Serious i recommand you to get SNGwizard if u going to play STT.
i think it has like 90-100days trial (forgot.... sorry) which is plenty of days.
it really help u on high blind push/fold situation.

I think I will start grinding these until the poker gods tell me to quit. I don't know what the hell to do about my cash game. Imagine how far I'd be if my cash game was, hell, just merely adequate?

... remember that wonderful SNG graph? And those wonderful $10 ST stats? Yeah, they are not going to look so great after tonight. Waaaaaaaaayyyyy too many bad beats and unlucky hands and rivers at the worst possible times. Like, right on the bubble... Its weird but overall I still feel I played well. I feel like only pros can blame variance because they don't suck. But I gotta say, I had a more than my fair share of tough hands tonight. But I also got lucky a few times also. It was a tough night. I played some $5 ST but I will share my $10 ST stats for tonight's session.

I really think this last swing wont be a problem for you for sure.
I've seen you climbing and workin' hard, so there's no doubt you will reach your goal. - just matter of time imo. 
I had some swings too. last 2 weeks from $34 to $96, then down to $58, and yesterday I did some crazy step - entered into miniFTOPS series putting 1/6 my BR in it, you can read it in my blogg.
Even I have had big downers, I've always believed and knew I can beat those limits I'm playing and PS.com is the best place for us to learn and grow.
And I really like and I belive Barry Greenstein's words you prabably already know:

I think buying in for $10 for STT was too high. So I have been playing $5 SNG (still well within my BRM) and doing pretty good, with the occasional $10 thrown in. I'm climbing again and also today was my first non losing cash game session in a while. My game is changing. I can feel it. I think playing those STT is making me tighter, less speculative, better at picking my spots for making plays, sizing bets better, thinking through hands better, and just playing more sound fundamentally. It is early for sure, but I am noticing these changes. Maybe getting brutalized was necessary for this hardheaded fish to improve, and put into practice what he knows is correct? I hope so.
