Welcome back from the Gran Casino de Barcelona where the PokerStars EPT current stop is running.
A total of 758 players from 53 countries competed at EPT Barcelona creating a total prize pool of €3,790,000. First place will get €825,000 (around $1.1 million) with 112 places paid.
A total of 262 players got through Day 1b yesterday which, combined with yesterday's 137 Day 1a survivors, means 399 players will be returning to Casino Barcelona today for Day 2.
The current chip leader is Spaniard Luis Rufas with 232,100. There are some big names still in the field include Team PokerStars Pros Leo Fernandez in fourth place overall with 164,400, ElkY (88,800), Johnny Lodden (53,500), Max Lykov (39,900), Toni Judet (36,100), Noah Boeken (30,700) and Liv Boeree (29,600). There are Full Tilt Pros Roberto Romanello (159 200) in top 10 and in the middle of the field Carlos Mortensen (59 000).

Today game will resume with blinds on 10th level 600 / 1200 and ante 100. Time for each level is increased to 75 minutes and 6 next levels will be played.
We have short delay but the game will resume very soon.

I have found almost every PokerStrategist in the field. Simon has very tough table. There are Tobias “PokerNoob” Reinkemeier and Team PokerStars Pro from Brazil Alex Gomes.
All-in festival has begun. All the time we can hear “all-in call” from dealers and few players have already said “goodbye Barcelona”.
Boys and girls, I have good news for you. CuCbKu is up to 95 000 after taking down 4 small pots. In every hand opponents folded on flop after continuation bet.
Giuseppe Pantaleo won a massive pot from German Team PokerStars Pro. I saw the action on the river when PokerStrategist made a value bet on board 8:d T:s Q:h J:d 8:h German Pro called and Giuseppe showed J:s 9:c with flopped nuts. He has about 140 000 right now.
I have very bad news this time. Thorsten is out. Team PokerStrategy.com member has made a very nice move, but he lost. Action folded to very weak player from the button and he raised. After that Spanish pro from the small blind decided to 3-bet him because this player folded many hands before in similar situations. Thorsten on the big blind picked up K:d J:c and after some time pushed his entire stack behind the line. Move was great, because Spanish pro would make a 3-bet very light in this situation. Unfortunately small blind calls and showed A:h Q:h. Flop came A:d T:d 4:h leaving just 4 outs with gutshot for Thorsten. Everything has changed on the turn, when J:d hit the board. Now Thorsten has lot of outs with flush draw, straight draw and two jacks. Unfortunately on the river dealer showed us K:h which gave Thorsten two pairs, but also completed a straight for villan.
Simon after 4-bet got some chips back and now he has about 66 000. CuCbKu is up to 98 000.

Good news, good news! CuCbKu has eliminated a player and now has over 160 000. It was pretty easy, CuCbKu raised from middle position with J:s J:d and shortacked player pushed for about 40 000. Team member called and he was better against pocket 8:c 8:d. Everything cooled down when we saw J:♥ as a window card. CuCbKu has a set and only miracle could make him worst in that hand. Flop was J:h 7:c T:h. On the turn 6:s hit the board and villian got gutshot straight draw, but on the river we saw blank 2:h and CuCbKu scooped the massive pot.

The 10th level of the blinds come to the end. After every level we have 15 minutes break. 333 players left and the everage stack is over 63 000.
Now we have 11th level 600 / 1200 ante 200.

Simon is happy indeed, because his tough table's broke down and now he sits by the table full of fish. All-in festival is still running and players are eliminated all the time. Dominik Nitsche (Aceontheriver) was the one who made the field thinner and won a massive pot. I didn't see the action but now he has over 200 000 at least.

I'm sorry for the silence, but we have problem with electricity and the internet access. 11th level of blinds come to the end and players was on 15 minutes break. 270 players left and the average stack is 84 222.
There is 12th level of blind actually 1000 / 2000 and ante 200.
PokerStrategists don't play much. Simon make some moves by the new table but he can't get any action. CuCbKu is calm also and stays with 170 000. Dominik Nitsche (Aceontheriver) lost over 20 000 after bad beat. Team PokerStars Pro from Brazil went all-in from CO, Dominik called from the button with A-K, which dominated opponent's K-T. Unfortunately T hit the turn and shortack doubled up.

Very bad news, just before end of the level Simon lost all his chips and he is out of the tournament. After UTG+1 raised, Simon flatted with pocket T-T. Action folded to the player on small blind who was in God Mode. He squeezed and the original aggressor went away. Simon decided to re-raise all-in. Rival snap called and unfortunately showed pocket J-J. Board didn't change anything and Simon went to the rail.
Other PokerStrategists don't play much. In fact we have downtime in the game. CuCbKu is on card dead mode, Fabrizio scooped some small pots and he is up to 150 000. Dominik Nitsche felt down to 150 000, but short after that he scooped some chips and he's back to 180 000.
