Thorsten became active at the end of the day

We saw Thorsten involved in 4 from last ... 4 hands. First he raised from UTG and Vitaly Lunkin called from the MP2. On flop 9:h 5:c 4:s Thorsten made 2600 to go and Lunkin went … away.

In the very next hand cut off player raised to 2500 and Thorsten called from the big blind. We saw 6:c 8:h 5:h and both players checked. When 3:c hot the turn Thorsten led out for 2800. Opponent called to see A:h on the river (no, no it's not Dominik ;) ) Team member checked, rival checked again his cards and bet 6000. Thorsten went away without hesitation and gave up his hand.

The very next hand Thorsten was on the small blind. Cut off player raised to 2600 and after Thorsten's 3-bet to 6600 fold his hand.

At last we saw Thorsten on the button. Action folded to him and he made 2300 to see the flop. Player from SB called and big blind went away. Flop was J:c Q:h T:s and after SB checked Thorsten made continuation bet for 2400. Opponent called and we saw 7:d on the turn. Both players checked and dealer quickly delt A:s on the river. Another check from SB and Thorsten decided to make value bet for 4200. Villian was really unhappy, he stood up and shaking his head folded a queen splashing cards on the table.

After that Thorsten has 46 000.

Thorsten can't win a hand

Thorsten's table has been broke and he has been moved to the table #13. After 3 or 4 folds he open mini raised from MP1 to 1600 and big blind was the only caller. On flop we saw 6:c J:h 9:s and both players checked. When the 4:s hit the turn, opponent decided to led for 2100. Thorsten called and the dealer showed us the 9:d. Big blind bet again 5500 this time. Thorsten after few seconds throw his hand out and released the pot.

Thorsten: 13,700
Nazgul: OUT
AceOnTheRiver: around 70,000

Thorsten and Liv Boeree

would pay to get that close to liv

Day 1 A come to the end. When I was posting last entrance much happened at our members tables. Lets start from Thorsten. The guy from the last hand of the last post was on big tilt because Thorsten picked his cards high enough to let him see … 8-3 (board J-Q-T-7-A) with pure bluff. When Thorsten was on button again and the guy on tilt was again on small blind our player raised and SB shoved instantly for 26,000. Thorsten snap called and showed A-K off. Team member dominated the opponent holding K-9 off. Board saw an Ace and that guy is busted. This way Thorsten built his stack to 66 700. Kevin McPhee was sitting on the big blind and he folded but after the hand he said that if SB folded he would have shove.

The very next hand was the last one today and Vitaly Lunkin said: “I'm really unlucky, again last hand on the big blind. I'm going to have aces, for sure!” Scottish guy raised from UTG+1 and action folded around to Lunkin. He saw his cards and made 3-bet. Initial raiser put a 4-bet and Lunkin shoved with … pocket K-K! He was behind because Scottish player had pocket rockets! Such a bad beat in the very last hand of the day! Board changed nothing and Lunkin is out of the tournament.

The very last hand of the day saw Dominik Nitshe involved in the big pot. After UTG+1 player raised to 2300, Dominik made a 3-bet from the big blind to 5900 with K-4. Flop was K-9-8 and Dominik checked / called bet for 7500. Turn was a Jx and we saw another check / call this time for 15 000 leaving himself only 14 000. River was a Qx and this time both players checked. Opponent showed A-6 off and Dominik scooped very nice pot.

Thorsten: 66,400
Nazgul: OUT
AceOnTheRiver: 137,900

The fifth player of the PokerStars.com EPT Barcellona Giuseppe Pantaleo was playing in yesterdays super satellite but he was busted just before cash with J-J against A-6 and he paid full buy-in to the tournament, so we will see him as well.

Besides, we are expecting very strong representation of Team PokerStars.com include Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Theo Jorgensen, Liv Boeree, Marcel Luske, Johnny Lodden, Dario Minieri, Martin Hruby and more.

If I only see someone from out community, I will add him to the coverage. If you know that someone's playing today, please let me know I will do my best to find him/her and add to the coverage. It would be great if you provide me with picture of the current player.

The tournament area is filling with players and we will start soon.

I have found cYde and add him to our coverage. He is sitting at the table with Allanon - two seat far and with position on him.

I have developed some pictures from Day 1 B Enjoy ;)

cYde

Action!

Simon lost about 5000 with pocket K-K. I don't know the action because he's angry right now and he doesn't want to talk about it. He was involved with action and rival showed pocket rockets.

cYde won very nice pot in sick action. He raised J:s 5:s from the CO to 300 and player on the button instantly re-raised to 1025. Black Member put a 4-bet to 2700 then and villian called. We saw J:c 5:c 2x on the flop and cYde made the continuation bet to 3200. Opponent raised to 8600 and our player called with 2 pairs. On the turn we saw another club: T:c and both players checked. On the river the dealer showed us 4:c and yet again we saw two checks. Rival showed … 9:h 4:h. I think it will be very funny table.

TeddyTheKiller lost medium pot as well as Simon. He raised J:c T:c from the cut off and got two callers from blinds. On flop we saw 7:c 5x 3:c and after two checks Teddy made the continuation for 600. One player called but second one put a raise to 1850. Teddy called and small blind folded. Turn was the 5:c and we saw big blind betting for 2600. Teddy called with his flush and dealer showed us 6:c on the river. After two checks opponent showed … A:h 4:c with straight flush! Such a suckout on the river. Amazing. Another PokerStrategist felt against straight flush in Prague (Nazgul yesterday)

Allanon: 30,000
Simon1989: 25,000

cYde 42,000
Giuseppe Pantaleo: 30,000
TeddyTheKiller: 23,000

First level of the session B of the Day 1 come to the end. When I was posting last entrance there was some action. Simon was down to 15,000 but he has won something back and now he's 20,000. cYde is running very well and all the time he makes his stack bigger.

I have chipcounts for you:

Allanon: 30,000
Simon1989: 20,000

cYde 50,000
Giuseppe Pantaleo: 31,000
TeddyTheKiller: 25,000
Carty: 27,000

I don't find other players yet because there is more than 350 players on the field but give me more time and I will find them ;)

Lot of action

Simon was in trouble. He raised pocket J-J and very aggressive Russian player sitting right next to him made a 3-bet. Simon checked / called all streets on the low board and opponent showed pocket K-K. After that hand Simon dropped to 5000. He won something back in the next hand but it was still not enough. After few minutes I saw him on all-in. Hijack player raised and Simon called with A:c J:s. On flop we saw 5:c J:c 4:c and after continuation bet Simon raised. Opponent 3-bet him and Polish Team PokerStrategy.com member went all-in. Simon was ahead against J:h 7:h. Turn was the 9:h, river 8:s and Simon doubled his stack up to 14,000.

Allanon won nice pot and now he has 37,000. After UTG raise, there were four calls include Allanon from the button holding J:s T:s. Flop brought J-7-2 and everyone checked to Allanon and he made 2200 to go. Only one player called and a 4x hit the turn. After two quick checks we saw 5x on the river and opponent made a bet for 4000. It didn't make any sense for Allanon and he eventually called. Opponent showed A-Q and Team member scooped the pot.

Other chipcounts:

Dalcoon 44,000
LederJoc 29,000

Simon is back on track!

Simon made very nice call and now he has more than initial stack. He raised from MP with A-3 suited and got three callers – button and both blinds. On flop we saw J:c A:c 9x and Simon made a continuation bet for 1100. Only button player called and we saw 5x (no club on the turn). Simon slowed down, checked and then called 2000 from the opponent. River was 9x (no club) and Simon yet again checked. Opponent quite fast made huge overbet for 10,000. Simon went into a deep tank. After 3-4 minutes he took two yellow chips (5000 each) and splashed them behind the line leaving himself only 3000 or something. Opponent mucked his cards and Simon scooped the pot. He's now 33,000.

Go go go simon _biggrin: _biggrin: _cool: _cool:

Nice job Simon, go my man :)

Players are now on 15 minutes break

Just before the break cYde lost a medium pot. He raised pocket 4-4 preflop from the cut off and German player on tilt (after some action with cYde) made a 3-bet. Black Member called and saw A-4-2 on the flop. Opponent made a continuation bet and got called. Turn was a five and we saw another bet / call. When a Qx hit the river, opponent checked to cYde who put him all-in. He called with J-3 and made double up.

Allanon: 34,000
Simon1989: 33,000

Giuseppe Pantaleo is on the rush mode. I don't know what has happened but he has 72,000 right now! Another final table? That would be so sick and so nice!

Allanon won a massive pot!

That was preety weird hand. MP2 player raised to 500 and hijack 3-bet him to 1000. Allanon called to see initial raiser 4-bet to 2500. Hijack folded but Allanon called. Flop brought T:s 5:h 8:s and opponent made a continuation bet for 4000. Allanon called to see K:s on the turn and after some tanking called second barrel for 7200. River was the 9:s and opponent checked to our player. He took his time and finally made 5500 to show his cards. Villian shoock his head and paid to see A:s T:h holding by Allanon. After this hand Team member is up to 52,000.

Dalcoon is sitting between two hammers. He has Team PokerStars.com Member Russian player Max Lykov to his right and another Team PokerStars.com member, famous Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier. But Dalcoon is far from being scared. Here is the example:

MP1 player raised to 650 and Max Lykov 3-bet him to 1700. Dalcoon sitting on the button decided to put a 4-bet for 3700 and Lykov was the one who called. On flop we saw A:c 4:s 8:d and Maxim check-called continuation bet for 2800. Turn was the Q:c and again Russian Pro check-called 6250 from Dalcoon. River brought 3:d, Lykov checked and Dalcoon put a massive bet making 14,750 to show the cards. Lykov went into the deep tank and after 3-4 minutes called. Dalcoon showed … A:d 4:h. No respect for Team PokerStars.com members! Now he is up to 85,000.
