I might be interested to get some % of your MTT action if your stats are okay.

Hehe, I'm probably up around 3,5k$ in MTT's this year playing 1-10$ BI but I can't really say I have any tracking of it because I'm mainly a CG player so I don't find it all that interesting to keep track of my MTT's

I don't really sell shares or get staked anymore since I have a good bankroll myself to buy into most MTTs I wanna play. Exceptions are probably like FTOPS and such but it's not often I have the time to play those because of school etc :(

This is a tough decision for you. You can approach this situation in a couple different ways.

A) You can stake him and the % depends on his skill and play history!

- Has he placed itm in these games before? At what frequency?

- Has he studied the game truly? Have you studied the game truly? It's crucial for you to be able to spot his leaks and help him. "If your playing in these also I would keep it hush your getting a % of his winnings"

- I think a range of 10-18% is fair if your only staking him 25%. If you feel he has advanced skill then 14% is fair imo. If he is an expert maybe your looking at 12% or even 10%. I doubt he is an expert if he has no roll "has he ever had a roll?".

- Once you have staked him you have committed your $ and if he loses, then well he loses. Have no hard feelings! Pretend the $ is gone once you stake him.

B) You can give him a loan and he has to pay you back with interest or not. This can ruin a friendship if he can't pay you back though.

** When I stake its usually MTTs @ 100% and I get 50-70% profits. Depending on the players skill level.

Good luck at the tables to both of you!

.

I also gonna sponsor a freind of mine in online poker and I will invset a lil. bit more than 50percent of his starting roll and I get 50percent when he reaches 5k or decides to quit
I ll also teach him a bit and I prepared a plan for him etc.
and I think it is a good deal for him
IMO the ebst way to stake someone is to stake him for a full rolll (or share of it)

I staked already 3 players 100%. All were winning players which had big issues in real life and had to cashout all. I made 60%, and 2x 50% of winning deal. Also dead was when they triple starting capital they can end stake if they want two did and one went bust after tilt(well didnt liked that but ok).

I dont know how you can stake 100% and get 100% lol so he will play for you as slave? Ok maybe 50/50 is a bit low but 60/40 is just fine if he is winning player!

Dude you should atleast get 1-1, so what if it's his time, he want's to do this and you're doing him a favour staking him like this.
And what will happen if he runs into sick varience and loses it all?
