by "M" I mean The M-Factor According to Dan Harrington.

Yes imo it is essential strategy i believe there are a few strategy articles on this from silver up in the mtt area also Harrington on holdem 1,2,3 are a great investment :)

Hello!

Yep, Harrington's M is the way to go for MTTs :).

noting what's your and your oponent's M is very very important playing mtts. stacksizes/(antes+blinds) > anything else playing MTTs

if you're interested in the M strategy, then try Tournament Indicator. I have been using it for some time and have found it useful. the win odds and pot odds are not always right, but knowing where i am stack wise in relation to the table and blinds is more than useful. i hope that i can slowly develop a winning strategy this way. the early signs are good. give it a try, you might find its worth it.
good luck

I don't have a starting hands chart anyway , but I think the basic strategy is something like

M>20 do whatever you want
10<M<20 SCs lose a ton of value, almost making them a stealing hand. no more limping for set value
6<M<10 good stack to repush
M<6 push or fold

Try to get a read on the players before you do anything, play in position.
