When you wake up and feel like its a bad day, how do you motivate yourself to grind? (or do you just relax for the day)

This has happened quite a bit lately. I have tried to eat better so generally I would eat breakfast and then see if I begin to feel better. If I don't I'll either watch TV instead or do some work around the house.

Playing when unmotivated to play is probably the most -EV thing you can do outside of drinking/drugs that will weaken your play too

If you went busto tomorrow, how long do you think it would take you to get a $10k roll from $100?
That would take some time with proper bankroll management. I'd prefer to get backed but if I HAD to do this I'd say 2 months.

- hmm from 100$ ->10k in 2months....what would you play to get from 100$->10k? volume, type of games, bankroll management?

- what is in your opinion proper bankroll management for MTT/180man turbo/regular? how much volume one should put monthly to have a decent results?

- had you ever play/what do you think about rush MTT's (bankroll and stuff)... they are also rush S&G that have late registration and they are like 250-350 people in, had you played them/what do you think about them(bankroll and stuff)?

- what is softest site for MTT/ multi table s&g?

- what daily MTT do you think are must play on every sides (soft field, good structure etc) 2$rebuy - 55$?

I would probably start at the 2.20 180s even though I'm a little shorter than I would like at that buy-in I would like to think I could beat these games with around a 50% roi or so. I'd probably stay around that level until I hit 500 or so and I could add 5.50 turbos and so on.

The biggest restraint in attaining that type of profit would be putting in the needed volume. If I was making $1 a game at the 2.20 level as soon as I play around 400 games I should be at $500 dollars. I think if it was a challenge I could hit that in 10 days or so. Going from $500 to around 2K would be the toughest part because there is no real bridge to the gap between 2.20s and 12s. Once I hit 2K then 180s (add 36s at around 4K br) until I hit 10K.

I think this is dependent on the player. The higher your ROI the more aggressive you can be. If you can redeposit you can be more aggressive as well so it is very dependent on you as an individual. For me I like to have about 100 buy-ins minimum to play a tournament in a BR or I will sell pieces of myself to reduce the variance

I have played them and they are very profitable. I have a series coming up on them actually . I think it has a little higher variance because it does have more people in it but the regulars in these tournaments aren't good. People are very exploitable in these games imo.

Anything but stars but I personally love the software and their support/security to where it is worth the tougher fields. FTP is pretty fishy but I assume all other sites are probably worse than both.

A tournament I wish I played more often would be the Daily Ninety Grand. It doesn't fit into my daily schedule on how I work and what not but it seems to be the softest. I have also had a load of success in the $51 Omaha Hi/Lo Hyper turbos at night. Not only that but I really enjoy playing it.

I've got some money to tide me over a little while and I'll be going to part of the WSOP (this makes me want to go for all of it) and then after that I'll be forced to do some brainstorming.

Wish it was that easy but being married makes it pretty unlikely.

I honestly thing this will speed up the regulation process here and when it is over I should make like 200K in the first year as long as I stay ahead of the game. If you consider once it gets regulated it would only be US players on the sites the games would go back to 2004 or before.

I think in the long run this may be good for the US and poker.

go some neighbouring country, open a bank acc, borrow an address if necessary.

play through vpn.

I have a VPN already but the issue is I am taking a huge risk by doing that.

I heard a story of someone winning 600K in the big Sunday Million and when Stars found out he was underage (against TOS) the took his money.

I don't really find it to be a good situation to be in and I honestly would rather not play. Maybe I can coach my way through the layoff .

What games do you think its the hardest and sofest one:

-$109 13 ET
-$55r 50k
-$109 6max
-$33r 6max
-$109 turbo late night

Are you worried about your future since you cant play at the largest sites anymore?

i think mtt dynamics nowadays, at least before the US incident, was becoming so much aggro, at a point even the fish were playing were playing like an aggrotard. Most of plays there was doing for no reason, just pure aggression, and a majority of regs were doing this. Do you have an opinion about this?

I would rank them as follows... 1 being hardest 5 being softest

1 55r 50K
2 109 6max (I think you mean 162 but either way)
3 109 13ET
4 33r 6max
5 109 Turbo Late Night

For some reason the rebuys always seem to bring to tougher opponents. And I could easily interchange 3 and 4 here.

I also believe the word "turbo" tends to bring the worst of players .

As far as the aggression I think you are correct. I have continued to see a shift to being more and more aggro. I have seen some of the spewiest plays ever probably within the last month. I think alot of it really stems from the basic idea that every has been told. Play "tight and aggressive" I think the take the interpretation that if I'm selective and play a hand I must be super aggro with it and I've seen hands like AK goto the felt on a J high flop with no draws. I makes no sense but if they want to put it in... I won't stop them.

It concerns me some of course. I suspect that poker will come back to US and this will ultimately speed up the regulation process. In the mean time I'll find ways to survive and if I have to get a job I will. Once it gets regulated I'll be back to the grind for sure.

I am also hoping to do much more coaching than I have in the past as a way of making money. Moneybookers seems to be working for me so without getting the poker sites involved I think it can be done.
