No, you don't really have to protect against anything, and you don't wont hands like KK or QQ to fold, as they have only 2 outs against you. If you raise you most likely get only called by better hands, so you don't win a lot if you raise and you do have the best hand, but you lose a lot if you raise and someone has a J.

The raise on the river is ugly, but you do have to call here.

I like it aswell, an allin raise doesn't have to mean anything, your AK is good most of the times.
