The way u pld it i fold this river. His turn raise is very strong and at the river he value bets into 2 players again.

Turn is a bit hard tho...didnt u have any special reads abouth the CO?

CO was TAG, and I initially put him on AA or KK, but 99 is also a possibility I think..

wah don´t even think about folding this. you said he is a TAG so the only resonable hand which beats you after he 3-bet an early open raiser is 99 and even this is close. most of time he has QQ or KK imo

what do you make of UTG, frzl?

utg is a random calling station who doesn´t want to give up his marginal hand in a gigantic pot. at least that´s my guess

The way you played it is perfect, the only hands that make sense are 99->AA, the ONLY one of which that beats you is 99. Easy easy easy river call.

I think I'd play it the same way as you, might even reraise turn.

If he believes you have TT+, AK, then you need to be worried about his turn aggression, let's face it, he must have you on a pretty narrow range and yet he doesn't seem too bothered about it.

While we're busy deciding what his range is we don't seem to be thinking about what range he puts us on. I also believe that 77 & 88 is probably in his range. 88 on the flop is possible because of the OESD, although I would tend to rule that out on the turn.

Would CO play TT-KK this aggressively against a preflop capper? You need to make assumptions about what your opponent would do in certain situations, and I reckon that after the flop cap 77-99 are a strong possibility.

Personally I go for bet/call turn, check/call river and expect to lose fairly often.

Depends on the player of course but I find that most opponents at 1.00//2.00 don't put a lot of thought into what range you might have.

If you have a read on the guy as a rock I'd take pokerhammer's line but generally I'd play this hand very aggresively.

Actually, that's a good point, I may be giving CO too much credit as a thinking player.
Still, it doesn't hurt us to put ourselves in our opponents position sometimes, hopefully it helps us to become better at hand reading.
Not only thinking about what our opponent may hold, but what we think our opponent thinks we hold!

Lol gotta agree there, hand reading can be a real lifesaver sometimes, mbe I'll take you up on some of that 1$/hour wisdom... thebryce charges 600 dollars per hour so you've only gotta be 1/600th as insightful as he is for that to be a bargain!
