I call down after his turn c/r when he had initiative, usually it's a monster.

Yoghi and ciRith, I should have said that in the second hand, BB is a fierce and creative defender of the blinds and we had tangled several times in blind-battles. Does that change your opinions at all?

2) mh a calldown looks quite passive to me. i think that we are most likely ahead against another A, A8 and 88 is possible but not very likely. Ax is possible too but imo we are ahead most of the time + we have the nut flushdraw. i would put him on AQ or AJ with a :diamond:. the cap doesn´t look like that but hey ^^

It doesn't change my opinion at least. If he wants to bluff you can let him, usually a 3-bet will make him fold.

Unless you've got a read that he's some maniac then I like the play, but usually bet flop c/r turn is a monster

who is talking about a bluff ?? i´m not. i doubt that he will fold a hand i mentioned above.
unfortunately i´m not platin anymore. there is a very interesting bet flop, check/raise turn article in the platin section which shows that you can check/raise quite a lot hands in a heads up pot with initiative. i don´t say that this situation is suitable for that move but it´s not true that check/raise turn is that often a monster... only when fishes do it it´s most likely a big hand

ok i asked milamber and he said that the standard play is a 3-bet but he has no idea what these people check/raise at this limit, then he said that a call is better and after i was confused he talked about a "dynamic delayed EQ based decission" and i was like wtf ???
he told me to ask cirith but i have the strong feeling that i got leveled ^^

You weren't talking about a bluff, but I was just putting him on a few possible hands, if he bluffs this way, a 3-bet won't really get a lot more value from him normally.

Against a LAG/Maniac I like a 3-bet and I doubt that your opponent knows the platin articles. (OMG I have to read it later as well.... ;))

Btw I nearly never get check/raised from PS.com TAG like villain did. :/

Hotte needs to make a movie out of it..... I'm tool lazy to read it.
