[Closed] 1/2 SH - 44 BB vs. raise

imo you should fold the flop or calldown (if the board does not get too ugly). i mean, he will never fold overcards to your raise on this board, or what do you expect, should happen? if you want to move, then you have to put some money on the risk - raise/fold is ridiculous, i mean, what do you think about your opponent, if he raise/folds..

I actually do like it.

You have the best hand here very often, and he will calldown a lot with worse hands. After his 3-bet it's certain that you are behind and you can fold this

i made the experience, that your table image is destroyed after playing raise/fold. they will start to 3bet you headsup with everything. at least you should call and wait a bit, pretend "thinking" and fold the turn. if my opponent raise/folds against me, he will get a 3bet on every flop for sure.

My reasoning: I'm probably ahead but he has at least 6 outs against me. I want to protect my hand. I can make him fold non-A hands (maybe not KQ), and those can even fold on the turn. My only concern are the 2 :heart:s, as he may think that I have a flush draw, but even this can be good if another appears.

About my image. I usually don't mind being 3-bet with made hands and draws, which are what I usually c/r on the flop. It's not like I'm r/f'ing a lot of hands as this is the only situation where I'd do it. So it can be good for my image.

Still, I think that if the board was rainbow this is a nice spot for a pure bluff (r/f).

I like the hand as well. Check/raising here should be standard as you are often ahead and he can call a lot worse hands down.
Folding directly against a 3-bet should be unique. Don't do that several times in one session.
Against this opponent is looks fine but against more aggressive opponents I even think about calling down as a 3-bet in position makes no much sense so he often still has a draw or overcards to the board.

If this flop would be rainbow I wouldn't do a purebluff here against this guy. His wts is way to high and his pfr too low so he often has a good hand with which he might even calldown.
